Symptoms. There are several symptoms that will alert someone to the fact that they have cataracts. Symptoms include cloudy vision, difficulty driving at night, need for brighter light when reading, seeing halos around lights, sensitivity to light and glare, double vision in one eye, and yellowing or fading of the colors in the eye. A person may have one or more symptoms with cataracts.
