Loss of range of motion. Related to the pain you feel from your whiplash injury is experiencing a loss of range of motion. You may notice that you can not move your neck the way you were able to before your injury. You may not be able to turn as far to one side or the other and it may become more painful if you try to turn further. Sometimes with whiplash, looking up towards the sky or down towards the ground can also be challenging or more painful.
